John graduated from Bangor in 1979 and after working and travelling in Europe, North Africa and North America moved to Suffolk in 1983.   After eight years as a self-employed forestry contractor and eight years as a forest manager with Tilhill, he started Silvicultural Systems in 1999.

Christine joined Silvicultural Systems from UPM Tilhill in early 2008 bringing 30 years experience of working in the forestry and landscaping sectors.
